A really weird dream! My knees would hurt after walking a few steps then I would lose all strength in my legs and I would collapse to my knees. I would get up and then it would happen over and over again! Can anyone interpret it for me please?

Sounds like you have a burden that, whilst you think you have resolved it ...is inifact unresolved....sort out the problem not the symptom of the problem....or stop eating cheese before bed!

that is a typical dream of losing control

fall down = losing control, give up

In your life, perhaps you have some sort of problem dealing with people. By projecting losing strength in your legs and collapse mean that you subconsciously are losing control. This comes from your subconsicous mind. Very often, we do not know it until we dream about it. Perhaps, sometimes in life you may have experience about things you can't handle and you feel like giving up. Venting out in the dream is how your subconscious mind works

I believe we have to interpret our own dreams, since only our own self knows our own life and values.
HOWEVER, I'll suggest: are you having greater difficulty than usual feeling confident about somethingi n particular? Or seeing something through?
There's a book entitled The Bedside Guide to Dreams by Stase (yes, Stase) Michaels, M.A. It's not mystical, but practical. It sure makes a lot of sense out of how and why we dream, thus how to better understand what's going on with our images.

Hi Sue,

Psychologically, things to do with the legs and feet such as that you describe often have something to do with a reluctance or fear of moving forward in life.

Do you have some issue to resolve or are you still hanging onto the past? Think hard about this as there's probably some action you need to take to move on in some way.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes

Maybe your deepest fear is loosing the ability to walk. Maybe you're on a road that you are scared of travelling because you've never been on this road before. Maybe your dreams are warning you not to go the way you think you should.
