everybody is looking for experienced personel. what to do, if you don't have no/the experience required?
for instance, there is a project run by a goverment institution which has attracted a lot of people. they don't have enough room for all of us, so, they asked us to write something about why joining this project and something about the relevant experience in the field.
it is my first project of this kind and in this field. it is related with the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. it would be a great opportunity, keeping in mind that I would like a career in diplomacy.
so, what to do?

Volunteer work is good. College is 'paid experience.' What you don't have in practical experience is made up for the 4 years of discipline. This sounds like you have an opportunity to shine with writing ability! Get their attention and sell yourself--they are giving you the chance. Good Luck.

tell them you've had the same girlfriend for 8 years and you get along great! They'll think you must be a great diplomat.
