Anyone else gonna miss him?
We knew it'd hadda happen sometime, (retirement) but tough to image The Price is Right without him.
I'll admit, I rarely watch it now, but several years ago, my roomie & I were bums & watched it everyday when we weren't looking for jobs.
Bob is SO damn funny! He comes up w/ these great one-liners on the spot & that ain't easy. I've stolen many from him.
Gonna miss his face.

I'm gonna make an effort to watch it a bit more before he retires. Esp. the last installment. Might even record it.

Yes it's pretty sad, but it's time. I hear that they are considering replacing Bob with Dave Price, the weatherman from the CBS News...I think it's a good choice.
He's funny and charismatic. Whoever they decide to go with, I hope that the show doesn't end up getting canceled.

Tripod pronounced somewhat there that caught my eye. I too experience Bob grew to become into the tutor. yet any destiny reincarnation will of course ought to stand on it is very own to advantage my accolades. there'll (can) in no way be yet another Bob Barker and so it is going with TPIR! i would not desire to be interior the working to maintain on his legacy or proceed (or attempt to proceed) TPIR dynasty. although, Drew has his very own element occurring and he seems delicate, George Hamilton is mostly seen as too lots into himself and ought to reason frivolous unfounded scandals via potential of being there, Rosie is probable the proper decision. she will have the means to "make the tutor her very own" and he or she will have the means to no longer have time to spill her guts!! it is desirable!!

My grandparents will be so upset about his retirement - but it's time. Bob Barker has got to be 80, at least. The show won't be the same without him. Wonder who will take it over??

The Price Is Right will never be the same again. Hopefully whoever takes over can fill at least one of his shoes.

I will miss him a lot! He was funny and quick witted.
When he was in Happy Gilmore, I almost pee'd my pants when they were fighting, funny as heck!
I don't think TPIR will survive without him.
Also, I have been watching it for over 30 years, not faithfully, but when I was a kid and home sick, that was one of my favorite things to watch!

Me too. Day-time television won't be the same w/out him. He's one of those people who you just never think of who would retire or pass on.
