My ex and I are not only both white, but pale. We had two daughters both were dark skinned with black hair and dark brown eyes. His father was indian and I guess that is where it came from. But people definately had a reaction to it. So yes it is very possible.

This is totally possible, in fact my colleague and I were talking about this just this morning. There was a guy who lived in Ireland that was born dark skinned, his parents were both light skinned. When they traced his family tree back they discovered that one of their relatives in the past had owned slaves, and the lady of the manor had an affair with a black slave, the genes were passed down through the generations and came out when he was born. There have also been cases of white twins born to black family's, and one where there was one white and one black child in a set of twins. Of course there is always a possibility that the child is not his, but before it becomes a huge issue and splits the family up, I would suggest a paternity test, then there will be no doubt who is the daddy.

It is possible. Genes are strange like that. Recessive genes do pop up from time to time.
Is there a reason you don't believe her?
If you are that curious you could find out the baby's blood type. Sometimes that can rule out a father. Or suggest that he have a DNA test. I would be carful of insisting too much if he is positive that it is his child though. You may wind up putting a strain on you and your sons relationship.

Yes it's possible I've heard of stories like that where the mother and father are light skinned but one of them has dark skinned ancestry and they have a dark skinned child. The twins in England have a mother who has mixed African and English ancestry and an English father. I saw an interview on the news with the mom and she said both of the twins were born light skinned. One got lighter and one got darker.
If your son isn't sure the baby is his he can get a paternity test done. Good luck.

It could be possible your son is the daddy. I am really native but doesn't show that much in me except for my bone structure the one that sticks out the most is my really broad back for a woman my age. Both my kids my son now 2 and my daughter 2 months old both look like ghosts lol. If you are worried I would have a paternity test done.

yes, genes work in funny ways..they can have a dark baby is her family has this background. Hecan always ask for a DNA tests if he has doubts,,,but he doesn't seem to have a problem with it...it's you that is upset. Let me tell you this short story. My uncle (not white not dark,,,just like tan skin) married a black lady...she got pg...their first baby was white, blond hair, blue eyes...because his grandfather (my greatgf) was like that....you never know what you are gonna get...just be happy it is a healthy baby.

It's very possible. They just ran a news story about a white couple having twins, one white, one black, they said it's genetic. There is Indian blood in my family as well, I'm light and both of my brothers are dark skinned.

Sure is. Remeber when Dinah Shore had a black baby?? Her husband left her claiming it couldnt be his and it turned out it was. There apparently had been a black ancestor on Dinah's side a few generation back. I have two biys one blond and blue eyed and the other very dark. My grandmother was american indian, father of boys is Italian and my blue eyed blond was the big surprise.

Yes it is possible. Even if the gene isn't that dominant, it can still happen. But if he has doubts, a simple DNA test can clear this up.

I guess it is possible. But just for the sake of your son being hurt in the long run I would suggest a DNA test to be sure. Im like the other people who say I personally think she is taking your son through the ringer.
