This is a guy that I had a relationship with when I visited my sister. When I move in with her we continue to date... We move (sis & I) & we kept in contact. Then we lost contact with each other.
I recently obtain his parents #. Should I call and ask for his # (I don't know if he may have a family). I am still very much in love with him and would like to see if we can start something new.

you could call his parents and find out if he is married and has a family before you ask for his phone number.....if he does i would just leave him alone but it never hurts to try.....he could be somewhere alone and comparing every woman he dates to you and they aren't measuring up....he could still be thinking of you to so give it a shot!!!!

Hopefully when you had the relationship, he was single as well as you...
It is not a big deal if you call his parents and talk to them.
Find out if he has moved on, is in a committed relationship. This can be done very easily by asking a few pertinent questions. Don't put them through the grinder with anything personal.
Explain you are an old friend and wanting to look him up.
If he has a family, let it go.... do not inter fer if he is in a relationship.
