I say Merry Christmas because it is the day of Christ! I really don't understand people who take offense to people saying Merry Christmas. I wouldn't get all mad if someone wished me Happy Hannukah. I'd just politely say "thank you, and to you as well", and be done with it. What's so hard about being tolerant of the religious practices of others?

It is Merry Christmas, on cards it is either Happy Holidays or Seasons greetings although some decorations would say Seasons Greetings. I believe that Christ was born on Christmas December 25th. Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph while baby lays in manger. I was lead to believe he was born on December 25th if anyone differs why bother celebrating?

Merry Christmas! Isn't that the holiday we are celebrating? However, in business if I don't know the denomination of my customer I say Happy Holidays. Personally, I would not be offended if someone wished me a Merry Christmas if I were Jewish but some others may not take it lightly.

I say Merry Christmas as Christmas is about Christ. The first part of Christmas is spelled Christ, the real reason of the season

Merry Christmas. Because Christmas is celebrating the birth of Christ. If I am offending someone because they don't believe in Christ, then too bad.

Merry Christmas is what I say. Seasons greetings just seems so generic. I grew up with Merry Christmas & I guess that is how it will always be for me.
