I buy new shoes as often as possible, but that's not because they are worn out - it's just because I'm addicted to shoes! Are you buying really cheap ones - that could be why they are not lasting very long...

Once a year I buy a new casual smart pair to wear to college or going out to appointments etc..
My job is very messy and physical , so the old pair from the previous year gets used for work. I have a differant pair for gym and special indoor activities and a differant winter pair (usually boots) So in all I use 3-4 differant pairs of shoes, but because I dont wear them all the time I can own a pair for two to three years.
If you buy good quality shoes, and take good care of them, they should last you more than one season.
I dont mind paying almost £100 for a pair of shoes, simply cuase I know that they will last longer than a £10 pair from Primart.

What on earth do you do to your shoes to ruin them in two months? I may be hard on shoes myself, but I have several pairs that I've had for years. One pair of shoes that I get a lot of compliments on, I bought nearly 20 years ago and they're still going strong.

Until recently, I didn't buy shoes that often...maybe one pair per year. This past year I buy a new pair every month to every other month just so I can have more variety to work with.

Try to give your shoes at least 24 hrs to relax before wearing them again. For example, if you wear tennis shoes on Monday, wear something different on Tuesday to give the tennis shoes time to relax. I have a friend that works in shoes and she said that the materials need to relax or they will break down faster, and the shoes will not last long.

So at least one pair of new shoes a month

this may sound silly but the more shoes you have the longer you last, if you have one pair of shoes and they last 2 months which is the same as me it is a nightmare so now i have 22 pairs of shoes, boots trainers etc and haven;t had a new pair for over 7 years as have something for every outfit.!

Erm - far be it from me to criticise but its usual to actually remove shoes now and then, not leave them to wear off.

You do buy them from a shoe store not a farriers?
