Having an affair with a married man is a bad idea and very wrong. Think about it this way, he's married AND your professor. If he was found out, he could lose his job and wreck his marriage. Think about the other people in the equation besides YOU. Think about his kids, his wife, his job. Think about if YOU were his wife, or anyone's wife for that matter...how would YOU feel if your husband had an affair with someone just like you. Most girls have had a crush on a teacher before, and yes...that's all this is...a silly crush.

If you like him, you should be respectful and NOT persue him. You want him to ruin his life because of you? I promise you he will not leave his wife, no matter what he might tell you. He WILL NOT DO IT. Leave him alone, find a nice guy your age who isn't married and be happy.

Bad idea. You are setting everyone up for a lot of heart ache and trouble. You can daydream about this man but why push it further. He is married so anything that comes of you longing looks will only cause hurt for him, you, his wife, and his family. Also, he can lose his job if he gets involved with a student. Would you really want to date a man that is separated and unemployed? Crushes can be great things. If it is meant to go any further, it will at a time when he has no wife and you are no longer a student.

I am a Professor and I can tell you that students can be tempting. BUT the mechanics of this are full of pitfalls, students become enamoured with teachers and these thoughts are not realistic. If anything were to come of this fantasy, the Prof can lose his job as well as his family.
Is this what you would wish for?

My friend, he's purchased goods... don't even go there! Having an affair with a married man is adultery, I don't care if he's your professor or some guy you met at the mall, its wrong, period.

It's just a school girl crush. You'll forget him when the class is over and move on. He is married, stay away from him.

Let me guess - you're an English major, right?

If he likes you and you like him, sleep with him. Just be sure to use condoms.
