Christmas Eve we still have the 7 fishes for dinner. We still make sauce from scratch chopping garlic and basil and parsley by hand. We still believe blood is blood and you don't turn your back on blood. Everybody gets together for the holidays (I hope that's every culture) and of course, when there's homemade sauce, there's also a loaf of bread to dip. That's a meal in itself.

We still have fish on Christmas eve with Midnight Mass. Until we moved to FL we used to get all the family together would be about 30 of us. now im sad! lol
