Don't worry - plenty of American jobs are heading to India...they'll be fine.
Seriously, though, I'm not saying it's not a worthy cause and I'm not saying that India doesn't need help - did you ever hear their statistics and the way their government is dealing with their AIDS epidemic! I'm simply posing a question about the ethics of assisting other countries before your own...
Good for them, actually doing something responsible and productive with all the money they earned...more celebrities should.

Did you ever read anything about Brad Pitt adopting kids or building low-cost housing before he hooked up with Angelina? He'd jump off the Brooklyn Bridge if she told him to.This stuff is her idea and I'm not saying that these aren't worthy causes, but the credit should go to her and not Brad. Yes, she's a husband stealing ho but everybody has some good points!

In cause you didn't know, India is a very low income country. There is too much illiteracy and poverty as compared to the States. So its quite obvious that celebrities will help countries like these more than the already highly developed ones.

Maybe because poor people in India are a lot worse off than people in America. Homeless people in America have places to eat, sleep and find jobs. There are programs for them but, poor people in India and other third world countries are literally starving and in need.
