What's the deal with the clothes from the 80s coming back? What are these people thinking? I lived through that once....I don't want to experience it again.

Girl,I lived through that era too.The WORST clothes were from the 80's.Hopefully it won't last long!

People almost always go through a phase of looking at the styles (and music, etc.) of their parents and grandparents and finding some things they like. It has been long ago enough now that we are talking the parents of the current teenagers. Also, things have gotten more varied and creative over time.
I have all of 21 Jump Street on DVDs. I look at the fashions and realize that they would mostly go pretty well even today. That's because during my lifetime, fashion has become rather cumulative. You go through your mom's old stuff, or you go to second-hand stores, and some stuff is cool and some is laughable. You bring home the cool. And sometimes you bring home the laughable, just for the fun of it.

i know what you mean! everything comes back around sooner or later!!
hopefully you have some of your 80s clothes stored away and you wont have to spend any more money!

I think it's good. Now I can go through my old clothes and not have to spend any money. lol
