Commissioner Roger Goodell (2006-present) is the owner of the NFL and replaced Paul John Tagliabue as of this year.

Roger Goodell is the new commissioner, he replaced Tagliabue this year, & he along with a board of directors manages the NFL. But he DOES NOT own the NFL, no one owns the NFL. There are seperate owners for every team. Daniel Snyder owns the Redskins, Robert Kraft owns the Patriots, Paul Allen owns the Seahawks, Jerry Jones owns the Cowboys, etc.
