I am proud of what our country has done not only here in the states but elsewhere in the word as well. Yes we have had our blunders... Korea for not kicking the those people back to the Chinese border... Vietnam for not letting the military do it's thing... Tree huggin hippies for complaining about the torture of non uniformed combatants that do not fall under the geneva convention... Other than those and a few others, i am proud of what we have done.
To all you tree huggin hippe Democrats out there who scream bloody murder that we have killed civillians I ask you, what did you say when they killed our civillians? What were you complaining about when almost as many cvillians died on 9/11 as military people at Pearl Harbor? Who did you blame then? Now what do you ***** about... Terrorists setup shop in a school house or religous landmark and when we take them out there human shields that they forced there are killed and that is what the media sharks feed upon. No one will ever hear of the good we do as they don't get ratings.
No one here knows about the good life we have brought to the peoples around the world. How we have given electricity and water to refugees and rebuilt entire towns and such. No one wants to hear that cause all the bleeding heart liberals are all bitching about why Johny killed a kid that was a human shield. Oh, scratch that last part. You didn't know he was forced to be a shield and was an inoccent... Carrey on.

I respect and admire our soldiers. I am a patriot all the way. However, I do not support the war in Iraq, and did not from the get go. For reasons I may not be able to fully explain to you. When we were discussing the possibility for war I was studying the Vietnam war. There are many similarities. A few examples are the fact that Iraq has a forbidding environment, especially when one is not familiar with it, terrorists are not uniformed, they tend to kill themselves along with their own people, and they infiltrate the police and army training groups of Iraqis. How do our soldiers decide who is the enemy and who is an ally? How can you possibly win a war in those circumstances? Pride can not win wars.

I am not sure if I support the war in Iraq but I DO respect and support the people who are there.
Shame on everyone who does not support our soldiers. Being part of a society means you stand behind one another no matter what otherwise we are not a nation but yet a bunch of selfish people who only look out for our own beliefs

Soldiers are our warriors. It's a noble profession. However, the current war is a very bad idea. I support the troops, but I do not support the president who sent you there by telling a big, fat lie.
Because I support the troops, I do not want them to die unnecessarily. Sometimes it cannot be avoided, but this war was one hundred percent avoidable, and only waged out of greed. And it's the soldiers and their families who suffer. And really, the whole country suffers the lost of so many young people. Who knows what all of the dead soldiers might have accomplished in life, and not just the dead ones. The ones that come back horribly maimed or with brain injuries that make it difficult or impossible to function. It's tragic.
Our politicians who are responsible for this are evil. I honestly hope they pay for what they have done to our soldiers.

I support our troops all the way. I hope people would understand that if we didn't fight for what we believe in we wouldn't be a free country. Have any of you listened to the song by Lee Greenwood "Proud to be an American". When I hear it I cry with pride for all the people who did what they could to give us the freedom we have all around us. Look at all the 3rd world countries that aren't able to do anything because their government controls how they live, how many children to have and what day of the week their able to buy food.

I hate the war in Iraq. It should never have been started. You joined the military to serve your country. I am proud of you for serving your country.

First, thank you so much for choosing to serve us. I personally am very proud of our military and their selfless acts of love. My brother was killed in Iraq in 2004 and he loved his job and being a tank commander. You are all truly chosen and God sees your unselfish hearts. I believe that the Word says, there will be wars, and rumors of wars, and everything is in God's timing. I am praying for all of you everyday and you must not get discouraged because your job is a high calling and you will be blessed for your service to us. Thanks again!!!

Thank you for protecting our freedom. I don't understand people who seem to forget we didn't start this mess. IRAQ did with it's many bombings in America, killing Americans world wide. The DXXX media only addresses the bad stuff and none of the lives our soldiers are saving over there and the wonderful things all of our soldiers are doing to help the people their leaders have abandon.
Please come home safe and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

You've been fed the party line and eaten it. There is nothing to be proud of about what we have done in Iraq.

A bunch of monkeys armed with weapons of mass destruction lead by some weasels on the other side of Earth. This is a ******* zoo! But this is an unfair world. In a fair world now Americans would stand in long lines waiting for a piece of bread.
