i brought half of the stuff and i know what I'm getting everyone else. I gather all the high street catalogues and made a list. I've also gone on there websites to check for deals to make it cheaper.

I am in the same boat as you, sort of.

My first baby is due December 8th so I'm really preoccupied with that. I really don't feel up to walking round the shops at 35 weeks pregnant. Haven't bought a thing yet although I've started making lists of ideas.

Plus we have got no money - we've spent loads geting all the baby stuff sorted out, plus I'm now on maternity leave and what little we have has to cover all the day to day expenses - food, bills mortgage etc, there's nothing left over to start buying Xmas pressies with.

MY BF is waiting for some compensation for a personal injury claim, which we've been told we should get at the end of November. We're planning on putting aside something like £300 of it for Christmas and thats it. We'll just have to buy what we can with that. I think everyone this year will be too preoccupied with the new baby to worry about pressies really, although I certainly don't want to let Christmas go as its my favourite time of year.

Plus its MY birthday on December 17th!!!

I've done some of my Christmas shopping already. It always seems like toward the end of the year I don't really have the money for presents. I don't like to buy too early because then presents can't be returned after so many day's. I know Target gives 90 days to return an item. I think Wal-mart does also. But I'm trying to stay away from Wal-mart.

I've got 15 neices and nephews and my friend is due twin girls at Christmas - but I'm nearly ready - got a few more bits and peices to get but I went through what I had bought last night and wrote a list of things I still have to get. I get paid monthly so really I've only got one more pay until Christmas so I have to start early!

Not me. I never am until the last week. Dashing here there and everywhere, trying to get more hours in the day, walk off my feet and try to do all the baking last thing at night.

But in actual fact I LOVE IT. I love the hassle and bussle and the Christmas lights and spirit and carols, and this, in my opinion, you can only feel a few days before the blessed day. Merry Christmas to one and all!!
