Generally, I like Brits. But many older Brits can be pretty acerbic and sarcastic.
This is kind of hard to explain, but I generally find Brits to be less friendly BUT more down to earth than us Americans (Yanks are friendly, but we have this obsession with winning and overachieveing). Once the icy exterior of Brits is penetrated, you guys are pretty cool.

as an american, I can say that americans love you, but Brits appear to be seriously anti-american.

We have 2 political parties in the USA. Bush belongs to the republican party. The other "democrat" party is nasty and slanders him all the time, which carries overseas to other countries. This criticism is supported by terrorists, as well as "friendly muslims" living in your country, and other countries. I just ask that you listen to Bush and be fair....

on the war of terror, i hope that the Brits and the americans can work together for the safety of the world , and expecially for ourselves....

I really don't like generalizing about a whole people,
but I will generalize on the British Culture...

I think British Culture does better than most cultures at being progressive while maintaining the roots.

I like British accents generally.

I dislike the over-attention that the royalty gets...
I think if the royalty is to be maintained, they should get more respect.

I think that England, like most places, is at this point overpopulated, especially in the cities.

I'm tired, and I think that's about all the analysis I can handle at the moment.

Well, people are fine out there except for the young generation - teenagers, expecially girls. Honestly they seem to be spoiled.
But guys are alright, I got a lot of british friends out there.
Country...well country as a nature suck, except the beautiful scotland, but I like it. Winters are not nasty, really.
I like the shopping in the UK, great stores, malls, athmosphere etc..
What I like the most about the UK is the past, the history, traditions, culture etc.. that amazes me, everything is so old and conservative.
I dont like so many immigrants in the streets though, so many bloody Poles everywhere. Nothing against them, but you know.

LOVE your accent !!! Although have no idea what scotisch people say. And southern irish.

I think that Britain is a magnificent country. I was only there once, and unfortunately it was en route to Ireland to bury my grandfather. I do remember the sights of London, and the polite courtesy of the bobbies. Here in the US, if a cop says, "Hello, how are you," it's followed by the sentence, "Put your hands on the wall and spread your feet." In Britain, they say "Hello, how are you," just because they're nice people.

I love the people and England equally.
In 2000 I was fortunate enough to spend a month touring England, I loved everything about it, I was welcomed at every place I visited.

Overall, I thing the British people are intelligent, progressive, and wonderful people.
