I got busted for saying I was staying off work coz I had to stay at home with my son coz he was ill.
My son wasn't ill, I was just knackered and wanted to spend the day in bed!
My boss caught me taking him to the school gates in the morning!!
Thank goodness he's cool and he didn't say anything.

I never really have in the strictest sense, but my sister was hit by a car and I used that as a excuse not to hand in a peice of work at school once. She was hit the day that it was due in, and I hadn't even started it. I guess that's kinda the same thing.
By the way, she was fine, she just broke her leg.

nope, there is no need to i am my own boss. i place the children that i have in my daycare into a back-up providers house and i am free to do whatever i want. no lies needed.
