I don't really think they jumped the shark, but it does seem like they're reaching this season. First, there are way too many hallucination and dream sequences this season. Then there's the flashbacks. They were cool at first but now it just seems like the creators are using them as a crutch because they're running out of stuff for the people to do on the island. They really also need to answer some of the big questions about the island before they start posing more...like the whispering voices in the jungle, the smoke monster thing, the polar bear, the giant foot statue, the shark with the logo on it's tail, and the ship in the middle of the jungle to name a few.

dont know exactly what you mean, by shark?? But i think it has gone too far, each time i watch it there are too many adverts and i loose interest. I end up getting mad and turning over the TV or just turning it off. Channel 4 puts far too much tv breaks in between the episodes. VERY FUSTRATING!!!!

Yeah, but i think you arer right if i take it i know what you mean, they have definately jumped shark

Yeah, the polar bear thing really put me off. It does seem like there are an awful lot of commercial breaks and it makes it harder to really get in to the episode. I was downloading them on iTunes just so I didn't have to deal with the interuptions even though the quality was poor. Sadly, I'm losing interest this season even though I'm still hooked. I can't stand when television shows put too much stress on the love interest. I wish they'd get on with the story and spend less time on Kate/Sawyer.

I don't know what jumped the shark means either but if it means it stinks, I agree. They "lost" me last year with the underground thingy that had the cupboard full of food with the big guy in charge of it. And my husband played those darned numbers for months in the lottery and never won a dime!

It seems to be trying pretty hard to be 'different', so I think this season could be 'it', but I may give 'em another couple episodes. Love the Fonzi reference - don't see folks use that cliche much anymore, very approriate.
