Good Question, I ran after one in Nov. 1993. slipped and broke my ankle. What a pain. Will not do that again.

LOL I would stand there and watch it. I didn't put the shopping cart there, why should I stop it. At the same time I would still laugh if it happend to my car so... I look at it like this, will it matter 10 years from now? I don't think so!

I'll go out of my way to stop it. Not that it would do all that much damage, I would just want someone to do the same for me. I've seen people pull into a parking space that has a cart in it and they hit it and make it roll into another car.

I would try to stop it as I too would not like a cart to hurt anyone as well as crash into a car. It is the right thing to do. Unless you were not within reach of course.
The wind here in Colorado can do that sometimes, that is to get the carts rolling away.

the ones who stop are just measurable morons !!! because of those morons i got som scratches on my car ..
and also morons are the ones who leave those carts in places from where it may roll to the cars whitout caring about it !!!
