IF the stock you are holding is CUSIP# 882138100
then it was:
TEXAS AIR CORP
with a name change effective on 6/11/90 became CONTL AIRLINES HLDGS CU# 210802104
That CUSIP has NO STOCKHOLDERS EQUITY 4-27-93 *NON TRANS > 6 YEARS

A brief history of Texas Air can be found at:

My guess is that is is worthless. If you want to pursue it further you can try to contact Continental's Investor Relations or their Transfer agent.

Investor Relations contact information is as follows:

PO Box 4607
Houston, TX 77210-4607
Telephone: 713.324.5152
Fax: 713.324.2447

Please direct Investor Relations e-mail inquiries to: InvestorRelationsdept@coair.com

stock transfer agent:

Mellon Investor Services
85 Challenger Road
Ridgefield, NJ 07660
888-711-6201
www.melloninvestor.com

OR you can see if you can sell it to stock certificate collectors. Follow the link that Barrett left you.

Hard to tell, but check out the name on Yahoo business or the other sites dealing with stocks. You can type in name.

Nothing? Then try looking up at edgar.gov, the reporting service of the government. You might find the name there.

Of course, the name could have changed, the stock could have been bought by someone else, etc. So also Google or Yahoo search for the name and see if you get a lead.

It's like being a detective.

If you have a brokerage account somewhere, you can call and they might help.

Good luck.
