...sigh...has our country always been so divided in terms of political parties? It concerns me, but maybe it shouldn't.
I'd like to avoid all the politicians. Let's vote in a regular American. Plain ol' working Joe off the street...or Josephine. :) I'd run for office. I'd whip this country into shape so fast it would make the media, other countries, our enemies and fellow Americans sit up and say "what the heck has the US been doing all these years? look at that girl go!"
Health care, schools (oh my God the schools!), social security (let's retire when we're 50 instead of 65)...money from big business? Don't give it to me...or anyone on my staff because we're regular honest hardworking people that plan on making our country a better place.
Guess I'd probably be assassinated the first week. :) Better stay where I'm at and hope for the best. ...sigh...nice dream though, huh?

No. The American people are going to show their common sense by electing a Democratic majority.

Winston Churchhill once said "to be young and not be Liberal means you have no heart, to be older and not be conservative means you have no brains" I guess it is a case of voting with your brain or your heart. We actually need both, just not to the extreme that some are taking it to now.

I'd vote for any party that places the welfare of the United States first.
I just don't find this tenet present within the dem framework.
