Yes! All of my life I've been having to admit that I can't do something simple! But, do you know what? - I found the easy way out when I was about 8 and started saying "I don't know how to do this, can you explain again so I will know next time!" - and it worked! You actually get a positive response because you make the other person feel superior so they get a pay back and so do you - you can!
So now, I've collected a load of really useless skills, and I am a mine of useless information - but hey who cares now - I know how to be a guineapig and it's not a bad hobby to go with Yahoo Q&A!!
What do they say 'The Man/Woman who thinks he/she can't is right!'

I'm a total numpty, there are lots of simple things I can't do, pronouncing some words, putting my clothes on without falling over, washing up without breaking something, but hey I can wiggle my nose and whistle.

My husband can't whistle either. There are lots of simple things I cannot do but I perhaps wouldn't want to admit to some of them!

Yes, I can't listen to a Robbie Williams record or watch X Factor without being sick.
But even more seriously, I can't ice skate or roller skate which they tell me is pretty simple.
I also have to admit that I can't vote for Tony Blair whilst everyone else seems to have managed it at least once (some twice or more!)

Oh, all the time. My best mate can't tie her hair up in a pony tail unless she is lying with her head off the couch, so her hair hangs down! My flatmate can't tie her shoelaces properly, and I can't watch Lord of the Rings without falling asleep...And I can't make smoothies because I'm scared of bananas. (No, really!) There is so much more, I just can't think of it all at the mo...

Yes, it is always best to make a fool out of yourself, by trying to do something beyond your limitations. What is simple to one person, may be difficult to another.
