In a society, absolute individual freedom is not possible. In fact even outside society no absolute freedom can be there since nature imposes limitations.

However, our freedom is intruded upon by others, especially institutions we have created such as Government, Corporations etc. Here, I would say that there ought to be no intrusion into or compromise of the individual liberty, subject only to legal compliance and social amicability.

None, I believe the real threat is within our own government.. why else do you think the administration obstructed the investigation into 9-11?.. at some point you have to say that all of the evidence against them adds up to more than just a coincidence.. and there is a lot of evidence against them.
