Have you seen today's Yahoo news about Donald Trump and the Flag? It says that he put up a very tall flag on the front of his home in Florida. Some "official" there, says he has to remove it, because it looks like a car dealers lot! He'll be fined $250. a day until he does! Trump's reply was that "any one in office who feels that way about our flag, shouldn't be in office".
Agree or diasagree??? (personally, I agree with Trump!)

More than an issue about this particular flag, it is an issue about local codes enacted by city councils and counties that are intrusive.

Certainly local codes addressing areas of health and safety are reasonable. However, addressing "how things look" is questionable. You might check your local codes and see if the "international Property Codes" have been adopted in your area. If so, read them and you will find things that have nothing to do with health and safety, sort of like local code where Trump put up the flag.

I agree with Trump!! but the flag was at his house and then he had it moved to a country club / resort and that is when it became an issue and also he is not going to be charged $250 a day untell 30 days from the notice (which would be some time in December)

I agree with the Donald. Its his home, he should be able to make it a patriotic statement if he so desires.
