It all depends on the style of shirt. Some do and some don't. If you don't want pockets, then pick a style that doesn't have them.

Personally I wouldn't wear them but they can be convenient. None of our school shirts have pockets so I guess the answer is no, but a lot of girls actually wear mens shirts, so...

no should not have. we have others thing there and if we keep something in the pocket it will hamper our beauty. I think man also do not want girls to wear pocket shirt. is not it guys?

I have a habit .if I know somebody,I use to pick up things myself from their pockets.
I would love to see my colleague wearing shirts with pocket.

yea, all my formal clothes have that, but there are some speial onees that don't have. it depends on the design. for example, if you have a very bright coloured t-shirt, for designers, they wouldn't want pockets. for white, it depends on the thickness.
