Two times a year but only on off season. My hubby and I usually go to the beach in Jan. for our anniversary for the weekend. We also take one family trip also. I clip coupons and save everything I would of had to spend. We have been to Disney 3 times this way.

2 or 3 each year and one or two extra long weekends.
First holiday is always Christmas with family and friends for a total of 10 or so days. Then I have a long one in the summer time (more than 3 weeks off), or I break it up in two, so I can have some time off during the spring as well.
This still allows for a couple of days off work, so I take short breaks across Europe.
How I can afford it? I prioritise it.

2 or 3
one in summer, and a week away during the spring or autumn with perhaps a long weekend in france or belgium.
I afford it the same way I afford anything. I work, i get paid, anything not spent at the end of the month is saved towards luxuries like holidays.

We go on one fortnights holiday every year and go for a few weekends away too, we have only done that for the last two years because we were lucky enough to pay our mortgage off two years ago and now were better off financially which makes having holidays a whole lot easier.

I have been on none this year as I couldnt afford it but what I can suggest is pick where you want to go and book it in advance. You will only have to pay a small deposit and you can pay say £40 each month off it. Me and my boyfriend are going to the Maldives and its only costing £40 a month! The more in advance you book the cheaper it is ;-)

2 or 3 , i only afford it by booking right at the last minute (like 2 days before i go) you can get some amazing deals if you're quite flexible about where you go :)
