aim for the head... that would end human life. :)
kidding aside, our purpose/aim as human beings is to try to preserve one another, live a fulfilling life, make a positive impact on others, and of course... live the way God wanted us to live.

GOD REALIZATION IS THE AIM OF HUMAN LIFE
The aim of human life is not only to eat, sleep and have sex. This basic instinct is also found in animals then what is the difference between a human being and an animal. Human being is the most beautiful creation of God. The only difference between a man and an animal is that man can realize himself by the blessing of Sadguru(Teacher of Truth) but an animal can not. We can know ourselves through knowing the God, which is possible by the blessing of sadguru. To learn any subject we don't search the subject but we search the teacher who teaches that particular subject so that to know the god we should not search the god but to search that person who knows the God. Saduru has the knowledge of God .So to fulfill the aim of life we should meet the sadguru and take the knowledge of God.

To find the truth in the real life. An ordinary human being is supposed to face those situations in the real life which he himself contradicts. So to commune the reality with the Ideality is the aim of human life. It can be said that the union of me with the supreme.

No body has consciously taken any decision and taken birth. We took birth, not out of our own volition and we live, having been born. On our birth, living itself becomes our aim. We cling to it at any cost. Then, we need further comfort. Some day, you start wondering why you were born at all.
It is our belief that for every action, there should be a purpose. Our birth may not purposeful from our point of view. But, there must have been some purpose for it, for the creator. That means that there is some other force responsible for our birth. That force that forced life on us, is the Universal master, i.e. God. It is his lila that there are so many living beings exist and live. It is further said that he enacts this drama or lila as per some rule, the rule of karma. The divine rule of karma is based on the cause and effect theory at the macro level. You reap what you sow. A soul takes birth after birth, until it works out its karma, the fruit of its past actions.

Harsh as it seems, the real purpose simply is to multiply. The emotions we feel were developed to sustain this goal, and can be boiled down to: Eat or be eaten. We constantly kill to survive (from germs and microbes to plants and animals to humans) and try like heck to avoid being killed and/or eaten (from germs and microbes to animals and humans). In the greater scheme of things, we are a component of a larger development and no more or less important that the rest. Our energy is transformed sooner or later into something else that is part of the continual change of the Universe. So, in the Big Picture, it does not matter much if any one of us, is eaten, because whatever we get crunched up, digested, and consumed and converted to, we (or what we were) are still part of the Big Picture, moving forward (or backward, we don't know for sure) but always changing.

To enquire about the soul. Animals cannot do this. Humans have superior intelligence than animals. This intelligence should be used to enquire about the soul. A human should not waste his life in eating, sleeping, mating and defending. The sincere seeker should ask the scriptures and a bona fide spiritual master to gain knowledge about the soul as to what is its position in relation to the supreme personality. How will it find the real happiness. What is the process to reach it.

Humans always pride themselves to be a higher species because of their ability to think and make decisions. In my opinion, the ability to think is starting to get in the way of our lives. Because people think, and everyone think differently, quarrels and fights are started. Because people think, their school essays get discredited; students are not supposed to think, they are supposed to 'think' like people of the past who had written some books or some form of evidence and include those in the essays. Because people think, those who don't think have to conform to the ideas of the former. Because people think, they cannot come to a decision about some things and it will always be there, never-ending, never gonna be solved. Because people think. Too much in fact. Wouldn't it be good if everyone just do things without thinking too much? Go for it. On impulse. On instinct. Would that make things better? Look what has all the thinking done to us. Yes, we have the technology, the entertainment and everything else which people of the past did not have but we no longer have the simplicity in people. I'm not saying that people in the past did not think but they were smarter. They don't think so much. What's the point of thinking so much and still no conclusion and decision could be made? Doesn't that make you feel worse?
Bottomline: we think too much. Don't k. To whoever this is applicable to.

The biological aim is to continue the species, to procreate and multiply. To evolve into something that will survive.
But if you are talking about a purpose or if you are asking what should you do with your life, then that is a question which only you can answer.
