I'm twenty years old (i'll be 21 in april) and I like to cook various things that require either beer or wine for flavoring. Is it possible for me to buy non-alcoholic liquor in the state of florida?

I'm sure you could buy cooking wine or non-alcoholic beer in a supermarket - it's just that these products would probably taste fairly nasty in cooking.

Maybe ask an older friend to buy wine or beer for you to cook with.

There is no such thing as non-alcoholic liquor. If you need to buy wine or beer, then you will need to be the legal age required in your state.

I think you are referring to the cooking wine in stores. Yes you can buy it as a minor (probably includes non-alc beer that is .05%). The only thing a minor could not buy in a grocery store would be cigarettes.

Since most alcohol restrictions are actually on items that contain a level of alcohol that can cause impairment I would say yes.

From http://www.ci.lincoln.ne.us/CITY/council/rhc/page30.html
Except in a few states there are no legal restrictions on the sale or service of non-alcoholic beverages to underage people.

Call your local regulatory office to find out what the laws are in your state. I couldn't find them, sorry :-(

Question is: What is someone underage doing in a liquor store? You have to be 21.

Most "non-alcholic" beverages are sold in supermarkets in the same aisle as other beverages. So- yes, you can buy it.
