Not really, you just prefer to communicate with people who are on the same level as you and can understand you.

Not at all. You don't have to have a degree, spell perfectly etc, but you have to have a certain level of intelligence surely. How can you live on a planet for tens of years, a planet full of knowledge, books, heck even the odd high brow TV programme and still be thick?
Some people can't string a basic sentence together and thats a disgrace. Before you PC, nice to everyone, losers get going then yes I know some people can't help it, but how hard is it to read a book?
Even worse though is people who think they're clever. Maybe have a degree in quantum physics yet can't comment or discuss any other topic with a basic level of intelligence.

I struggle with people who are thick and oddly proud of it. I have heard people happily announce, 'ooh, no, I don't like reading books, what's the point, I'd rather put the telly on' or, 'why do we have to have long words, the short ones are just as good' A classic I heard was, whilst showing a colleague some photos of wildlife, 'oh a penguin and it's egg - you know I never knew they laid eggs!' MY GOD! What did she think they did? Spawn from wrappers?
I'm probably ranting here but to sum up - the thick do me no harm so I wish them no ill but if you are thick, don't advertise it!
And I don't think your a bad person - just a bit intolerant

No, it doesn't make you a bad person because it's not the whole sum of you, as a person.
In the same way, what you perceive as stupidity, will not be the sum of the person you might label stupid.
I'm just wondering.....ask yourself; Do you think that usually you are RIGHT??? Then examine your answer and what that may mean..

No, it just means you don't suffer fools gladly.
There's nothing wrong with that so long as you don't hurt the person that offends you.
There's only one thing worse than being stupid and that's being stupid and knowing it, so tread carefully lol

not a bad person but certainly intolerant and with a superiority complex towards those who you imagine are intellectually inferior to yourself, a little humility would not go amiss

It makes you pompous.
And thumbs up for the question. Psychology is an art you know, and so is defining cleverness. ;-)
