Is sarcasm the lowest form of wit, or is wit the lowest form of sarcasm ? But then as some wise man once said: Wit is but educated insolence ... So maybe all Wit of any kind is just proof of intelligence. : )

No, it's not! I often hear this said and actually I like a bit of sarcasm. It's great when you use it in humour and it great when you really wanna get someone off your back.....so not sure where this saying came from.

I think it's one of the highest forms of wit and a sign of intelligence.
I imagine someone here will probably report this as offensive to their intelligence though...wonder how long that will take?
