i known a girl on msn for ages and she had a bf in america but she dumped him cuz he lived too far and it didnt work out
and i fancied this girl for ages and now me and her are dating and soon we will meet

Online dating has it risks yes but it worked for me. I met my boyfriend in yahoo pool of all places. Got on a plane four weeks later to fly five hours to see him and havnt looked back since. I fell in love with him before I even met him in person and he was everything i expected plus more. It is a case of be cautious on what the person is telling you and trust your instincts and good luck.

I have known 3 couples who met online... Two out of the three are long term and helathy- the other I was very impressed when a girl moved clear across the counrty to meet her girlfriend in person they are still together as well just not as happily ever after as the other two-
If a person is careful and very open I think it can work- I have had my share of relationshipps online as well-

a recipe for disaster. liars and predators troll the online sites looking for desperate naive people. don't do it. you can never know someone from what they write, they can be whoever they think you want. at least if it's face to face you can look into their eyes and take a "read"
