I'm almost 40 YO male, plenty of cash in bank, and feel like my life is so empty. I have been hurt by American woman quite a few times and just can't seem to ever trust them again.. Anyway, the beginning of this year, I went to ASIA and became extremely reckless and had unprotected sex with many many woman. I had this wanton attitude like I'm going to live for today and I'm tired of worrying about catching HIV and dieing. And if it happens, I don't care anymore! Being almost 40 not married, no kids, I pretty much have a boring life and don't give a damm if I check out now.. Surprisingly my HIV test came back negative. How can I get more of a fulfilled life? I was thinking about sailing my sailboat across the Pacific for fun and going with only a compass. As you can see - I sort of have a death sentence to fulfill.. Please advise?

Help others! Give to others who need! This will actually have the effect of giving just as much to you!!
Find a good woman and raise a family with her! There's a certain feeling of joy in that which only those who do it can know!!
Your focus is on yourself all the time, and that is why you feel empty. Focus on the needs of others for a change and by giving, you will receive!

im 49. the term is midlife crisis...you look on the hill on the downward slope and think what have i done. here are some things that worked for me. first, your not alone...realize women are great bed buddies but the dont have the same goals and aspirations as you...you need your own goals and realize also that they can be a helper and partner and have lots to offer but YOU are the captain of your own ship.
next, it seems obvious you strayed off course from your plan in life...what happened and why. the best way i can find to have a new game in life is shuffle the cards and deal again. maybe you need to move, sell the house, get a new job, get a new car or whatever.
finally occupy your time, maybe there was a hobby or avocation you got involved in. if not then go to church, pray and seek guidance from god.
good luck and there are people out there like me who care. i know, ive been there.

I guess your life can be a perfect example for those who think money and sex will do the trick. I think YOUR problem is that you have everythink and not much to dream for. Yes, yes, you dream maybe to have a family, but that's not quite a dream, because you have been too much hurt by women and inside, you don't believe it will ever happen. Do you believe in God? In whatever religion you would be, i'm sure you could find some good things for you. Otherwise... spend as much time as possible with the closest friends. It helps a lot!

It is time to use that cash to find out who you are and what you want. Without using unprotected sex as a crutch.
You have a new path to follow but you are afraid to discover it and so you are using reckless behavior to avoid your destiny.
You cannot avoid life and you will never find true happiness from someone else.

Could it be because you're a trifle shallow? Life consists of more than the meaningful subjects you have covered! Try looking outside the bubble you live in and help others less fortunate!
