Look at the mirror!

I have to answer your question with another question.

Why do you want to find God?

Do you feel a lack of something that you feel God would fill? Did you know him before and have lost the way to him?

I am an atheist but that doesn't mean God does not exist, it just means I don't at base believe in him. Christian friends of mine pray for me and pray that he will show himself to me but until he does I have had to accept that for me he doesn't exist.

If you truly wish to find God and you feel there is no other way forward for you then pray. Find a quiet place where there are no distractions, perhaps outside where you can let the wonder that is around you make you feel more peaceful. When you are there, be calm and look inward past all the worry and try to see right to the core of yourself. That is where God will be if you can find him.

But if you can't find him don't worry, that there is no God for someone doesn't mean you have to live in a Godless manner. You can still follow religious teachings which tend to emphasize love for your fellow man and tolerance.

By the way, I'm not just talking about a Christian God, for you God might come from a different path.

I wish you well what ever happens.

Well ! it is a question almost every one asks. I asked it once myself.

God is present everywhere. If u really want to know Him more than u know Him(as a wavy ghost like figure) just call on Him and He will answer u! Call on Him with ur whole heart.

I believe in Jesus I don't know who u believe in but my life and everything in Jesus and my life has not been the same ever since.

I think the only way to God is to know Jesus first. I had a problem called spondylolisthesis which could have crippled me but Jesus healed me without any operation which the doctors said could not be possible.

U could start with buying and reading a Bible regularly and asking God to help u understand who He is it will help. But u must ask for the true God because there r many people who also claim to be God.

There is a good book I suggest called ' Good Mornin Holy Spirit' by Benny Hinn.

Yes , you can't find God unless you are deserved to. God is an ideal form of human. Every living being is a form of God. Because of the impact of reality, or say " maya " , we become mortals. If you find( truly not finding,...u should experience ) the difference between the Reality and Ideality , then the God will be seen everywhere. God is eternal. You cant see him through the so called secular things and means.

If you are asking of the one God found in Christianity, then you need to be convicted of His Holy Spirit left on this Earth for you.
Prayer and ask to come into you. God's imprint is in each one of us from birth. Some choose to ask and feel as you do while others blame and say there is no God, If and when you are convicted you know He is real, there is no one that can prove otherwise, you may loose faith by life's events and outside influences and evil, but it still lives in you.

God has manifested as deity (idol) in so many places. It is his supreme mercy granted to you to atleast have an idea about him. By nature humans have defective senses. We cannot see, hear, smell or perceive beyond a certain range. A dog can hear better than us. Bees can see more colours than us. So the senses are deceptive. What you see is not complete truth. So, how can you see god with these crippled senses.
But, God can be seen by something superior than these gross sense organs. Faith is what is needed to see him. If you develop faith then you will see God everywhere. To develop faith one has to approach a bonafide spiritual master who is already fixed in the absolute and who seen the truth. Scriptures and your own conscience will direct you to such person to whom you can submit to know the truth.

Humans always pride themselves to be a higher species because of their ability to think and make decisions. In my opinion, the ability to think is starting to get in the way of our lives. Because people think, and everyone think differently, quarrels and fights are started. Because people think, their school essays get discredited; students are not supposed to think, they are supposed to 'think' like people of the past who had written some books or some form of evidence and include those in the essays. Because people think, those who don't think have to conform to the ideas of the former. Because people think, they cannot come to a decision about some things and it will always be there, never-ending, never gonna be solved. Because people think. Too much in fact. Wouldn't it be good if everyone just do things without thinking too much? Go for it. On impulse. On instinct. Would that make things better? Look what has all the thinking done to us. Yes, we have the technology, the entertainment and everything else which people of the past did not have but we no longer have the simplicity in people. I'm not saying that people in the past did not think but they were smarter. They don't think so much. What's the point of thinking so much and still no conclusion and decision could be made? Doesn't that make you feel worse?

Bottomline: we think too much. Don't k. To whoever this is applicable to.

Do not look for God! When the time is right God will find you.

But in the meantime, God should always remain in your heart. If you have to make decisions, ask yourself, "What would Jesus do?" and walk on from there.

The actual human steps needed to find God are not as important as the knowledge that those who seek Him will find Him. He will lead you in this endeavor. In time we all must learn that we must give up human planning and learn to listen again.

look within. god is everywhere, in everything. god stands for generator, operator and destroyer which are all within us.

god does not have a name/form. we have given the names/forms. god is a source of energy/light. call is cosmic energy/spiritual energy or even nature. it permeates through all things, the earth, the solar system and the universe and beyond.
