Don't be worried about the c-section. But beware that you will have scar tissue in that area so the next one will probably take a little longer, but no big deal. I've had two c sections becuz in my first baby, I couldn't dialate. So then I had a repeat.. I'm doing great. The c-section shoud be the least of your worries. Brace yourself for the upcoming months of the endless, sleeplessness nights your about to endure with two babies running around. God bless your heart, honey.

I too had pre eclampsia in my first pregnancy and had to have an emergancy section. Im guessing your worry is the scar tissue?
Betime you are big enough to stretch the scar tissue it will have healed enough to cope. Speak to your midwife about your concerns so she can put your mind at rest.
As for the pre eclampsia part it is unlikely that you will get it again as Im sure youve been told, it rare to see it in a subsequent pregnancy. Dont worry about the scar Ive just had my second baby and I fell pregnant when my eldest was 1.5yrs, I know this a little different in your case but my scar was longer and not as neat as the average. Get on to ivillage and chat to mums/mums to be about this Im sure it will help you get more advice.
HTH and good luck

A friend of mine I had worked with has had four children with the youngest being almost a year old now (December), she had her first one very young I believe 15 had zero problems then had her next one I think about three years later and that one was born premature on a ventilator for six weeks and all but, now doing fine in fact she is 12 now. Had another one a few years later and had zero problems once more...then this last one she had last December was major problems..She had pre eclampsia so i think it just depends on the pregnancy and like someone already said the doctors will be keeping a very very close eye on you throughout . So make sure you take all your doctors advise and have a doctor that is up to date on all and one you feel you can trust. Good luck.

Because of your previous experience, the midwife and doctors will keep an extra special eye on you. Speak to them about your concerns.

My friend had a similar situation two years ago, she is now the proud mother of two beautiful little girls who were born very close together and both prematurely. They are all healthy and happy.

Try not to worry too much, keep your stress levels as low as you can (not easy I'm sure with young baby as well). Have you registered with your midwife yet? Talk through your concerns with her and I am sure you will be reassured.

Congratulations!

Honey, I'm sorry to say this, but it's not safe...your body hasn't have enough time to heal...you are supossed to wait somewhere between around 18 months to get pg again. I think you should talk to your dr to hear his opinion and follow his instructions closely because you need proper care with this new pg.

every pregnancy is different. i had preeclampsia with my first daughter...I am 22 weeks preg with my 2nd, and I show no signs of it. The doctors will keep a close eye on you, so don't worry, you'll be fine!
