My interest goes for small electronics, Xmas gifts and clothing. Am I better off buying them in Bahama's?

The Bahamas are very expensive. There are some lovely boutiques with very stylish clothes, but prepare to pay a lot of money for them. I think you'd be better off buying your electronic goods elsewhere too. People in the Bahamas go to Miami for their shopping!

I am not sure if you will get any small electronics in the Bahamas..They use the Bahamian dollar (equivalent in value to the US, but not as desirable) and as with a lot of Caribbean Islands, you will get charged the tourist price!...stick to the US on this one, and have a nice holiday.

Not really. You can get all of the usual souvenirs at a decent price if you enjoy haggling but I hate it.

Regular items like jewelry and clothes are expensive.

Yeah, definitely, I was there last year. But, I feel India should be a better place. Commercial street in bangalore is the best. Please do visit my shop there.......I have an outsourced Pan Dabba!
