The highest-grossing movie (US and worldwide box office receipts) is TITANIC. The movie grossed $600+ million in the US and over $1 billion worldwide.
No single movie has grossed more till date, although several movie series have made more.

The only REAL way to determine the "number one" movie is to look at the facts. The top-grossing movie of all time is Titanic. To me, that makes it the "best," because anything else would just be opinion.

theorecticall (statistically) "Titanic"..but i think that movie's far too sad.....i liked LORD OF THE RINGS a lot tho....the third was too long...second was ok..first was amazing ... it doesnt matter which part you'll like...overall..i believe to to be the #1 trilogy of movies ever !
