they fell out with each other for 18 months due to the fact nicole was getting more popular than paris, and i think paris got jealous, because the simple life was based more on nicoles antics, BUT its ok now because they made up like 2 weeks ago and they are best friends again! apparently lionel richie got them to make up and be friends again!!

Neither of them ever confirmed this, but it was rumored that Nicole Richie had a party and showed people the Paris sex tape. However, they made up a couple of weeks ago.

I heard it was because Nicole got too big for her boots after filming the Simple Life. Apparently 'she changed'.
