This is not a good start to your Yahoo! Answers career is it Callum? Only 6 words, and the question is incomprehensible.

What does it mean? Do you REALLY want to know how many houseS there are in Scotland (capital S), or do you want to know how many houses there are in the Scottish Parliament?

In 2001 there were 2,192,246 households in Scotland.

Their Parliament has a single (very expensive, paid for by the English in the main) House.

Depends really if your question meant "houses" or if you are asking how many h, o, u, s, e are in the word "scotland" - which would be 2 - one o and one s!

Sorry, actually there are approx 2.28 million homes in Scotland, the type of buildings they are I couldn't tell you though, that depends on your definition of a house I suppose.
