I did. I am not a Republican, but given the choice we had at the time I felt safer with Mr. Bush. Mr Kerry did not fill me with confidence from the very start of the campaign. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don't. During that campaign security was a major issue for many voters, myself included. Mr. Kerry kept saying I have a plan, but then he would say I can't tell you till I'm elected. I'm sorry, but that just didn't do it for me.

I did, and I am a Independent. I voted for Bush, but I also voted for three Democrats in the Congressional and state elections. Why? Bush was by far the lesser of two evils. Kerry is arrogant, totally oblivious to anyone else's thoughts, a liar, and as a veteran
myself I believe he is a black mark on all veteran's. Kerry is the type that will shake your hand and then stab you in the back. Bush at least will tell you he is going to stab you and do it while your looking. I really don't want to get stabbed, but at least I can respect the man that is willing to face me head on. I am quite willing to vote for a Democrat, but a moderate Democrat. I will never vote for a Liberal Democrat. Guess you could say I really liked Lieberman

i still tell myself that it was all just a bad dream...
or that people where so terribly frightened by all the bull they where fed they where compelled to do so...
or maybe little blue aliens came out of the sky and brainwashed a struggling america into this...
but the bottom line is that a lot of americans believe that they are in a war with terror... they had never heard of afganistan before but feel justified in liberating it (when it suited the government of course and not a moment before)... they mix religious beliefs with politics... and are plain ignorant about the rest of the world but have very strong feelings about their right to be there.
