Try 11 1/2 years. I was the one putting the brakes on that one though. It's a piece of paper and a name change for heavens sake. Did the two of you agree that you were going to get married before 2 years? If not and you love each other, then things will happen as they should. Pressuring him about it though could backfire.

sister, two years isnt long enough you dont even know eachother yet! many people are together many more years and arent married yet. maybe he doesnt love you, i wouldnt if you spoke like that! have you even talked to him about it? your selfish. however there are many reasons why he isnt proposing, he doesnt love you, he is gay, he may already be married? or ihe is having an affair! he may even have another family in a secret life!

I was dating my wife for four years, before we got married. Marriage is not something you just jump into, both the man and the woman have to want it.

haha, me and mine were together 6 years before we got engaged and another 2 before we got married. My parents thought it would never happen. Its just gotta be the right time for both of you. If its meant to be then it will happen, and confidentially, its not overly different to living together!

If he hasn't made a commitment after two years, he ain't gonna. And why should he? I'm sure he's getting all the benefits of marriage already.

And you want him to marry you if he isn't ready???? A little bit selfish are we. And in two more years you will be divorced with that kinda attitude.
