1) iPod supports only MP4 format video, so you should convert your videos to MP4 at first. I recommend 'Wondershare iPod Video Suite' to you. It can rip DVDs and convert DVD/VCD/AVI/WMV/RM/RMVB/ MPG/MPEG/ASF/DAT/MOV to iPod format. It works perfect for me. You may download for a trial. Here is the free download link

2)After finishing conversion. Drag the MP4 files into iTunes library. If you don't have iTunes. You can download free from here. http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/d...
After installing it, open it, Click 'File'->'Add File to library' to import MP4 files.

3) Connect your iPod to PC or Mac and update your iPod. Click 'File'->'Upadte iPod'
