History. It does repeat itself, and we have to learn from history or relive it. Do you not that Lincoln was extremely unpopular during the American Civil War? Democrats wanted him out so they could stop the killing. Death tolls that surpassed the amount of killed in Iraq in both wars, sometimes on a daily basis. Now he is called the greatest President in American history. If he had listened to the polls of the day, which stated that he was not only going to beaten in re-election but he was the most unpopular President ever at that time, America would be split into two countries now!

My Grandfather, for enlightening me to the fact that every politician, from every nation, from the dawn of time has been and will continue to be, corrupt. When all the leaders of every nation hold a joint press conference informing me that there will be no more starvation, no more war and every creature on earth will have enough to live a decent standard of life, then, and only then, will i rest easy. Noble ideals in a horrible, treacherous world.

It relies who you're and wherein you stand. I do not feel, for instance, that a Republican looking the Daily Show with Jon Stewart will believe his perspectives on so much matters, nor do i feel he'll convert any one from the GOP to his facet. Conversely, additionally it is not likely that a staunch Democrat will see eye to eye on whatever Bush sycophants Fox News has to mention.

Ronald Reagan every time I listened to him speak I felt proud to be an American. No matter what your opinion of the man it cannot be denied that he believed in this country and her greatness. He made me believe it also.

John F. Kennedy would be my second choice. Believe it or not it is for the same reasons.

Politicians themselves. It has been disheartening to see so many that are corrupt, lazy or without morals. I am more amazed to see an honest politician rather than a crooked one.
