Epistemology is the study of knowledge and how it relates to purity of the knowledge. which mostly forms under religion, metaphysics
because it studies knowlege in relationship wit belief and truth which we all know are things cannot be ascertained but Phenomenology study knowledge from a more practical angle that is "seeing is believing" and start from what is seen and felt can be understood to give light to things beyond the sight.

epistemology is roughly the philosophy of sciences (especially facing the crucial question: what is science? what is scientific?)

phenomenology is a part of philosophy that deals with "phenomenons", meaning the reality we perceive and experience, as opposed to the objects themselves.
