i was dating a guy at work for a week, then he started to ignore me. i asked him what the problem was and he said that people were starting saying things about us. like that we were sleeping together, which was not true. i told him that i didnt care what the people said. he agreed, but the next day it was worse. now we dont talk at all. my question is was i wrong in telling him that i didnt care what the people said? or should i of agreed with him in keeping our relationship a secret?

Maybe he wanted it that way, but you don't have to hide from anything. If he isn't man enough to come out about the relationship then forget him, if he cares so much about what other people think and doesn't care about your feelings or his feelings towards you then i say that those feeling towards you aren't that strong, sorry i know you don't want to hear that but it could be the truth, just treat people the way you want to be treated, go around like nothing ever happened with him, like you couldn't give two sh*ts about him and that your life is better than ever and see how he responds to that. He sounds like a loser.

Well if he ignores you then he isn't the man of your dreams. You need someone which loves you not the world. So the thing is that make him jealous and make him see that ignoring people is not a good thing. Don't look at him. Don't talk to him, Ignore him completely OK my advices is this BUT if you don't agree its your choices. My Best Wishes For Your Love Live and i hope i am not wrong.

When dating a guy from work, discretion is the key.
Tongues will wag, and some people are very sensitive to it. Its good to keep passion away from work. You could sleep with him, but far away from the knowledge of your coworkers.
Now that so much has happened, cool it off until others are busy.

You were not wrong hun. What you told him translated to; I like you a lot and don't give a hoot what others think. As a guy, that sounds good to me coming from a woman.

Seems like he doesn't want people to know that you are a couple doing couple-things. Answer: I would probably move on.

Find someone who brings you flowers and adores you.

If he loved you he wouldn't have cared about what people said. He also would not want to hide your relationship, he would be proud of you and want to show you off. You deserve someone better. Forget about him.

I think you were probably right in saying what you did; but that didn't help him get over his fear about what others think. Too play along with him might have helped for a little while; but eventually he'll have to deal with not being afraid of what others think or say.

a real man shd't bother what others say. if he's a real guy, and if he's serious about you, he'd be eager to show off to the world that u're the one.
