I don't speak for the Dems about Iraq. But, there are NO other voices in D.C. for ideas to flourish. We are being ruled by a one party system. Iraq has become a quagmire. The costs in bodies and dollars are burdening the American citizens. Why shouldn't the republicans be held to account? At least for our soldiers that are giving there lives for a cause based on lies. The republicans see it as an acceptable cost.

The plan is to leave the huge mess that Bush got us into without a plan 3 years ago. Bush won't admit it's a mess of course, even though the Iraqis no longer want us there and instead approve of attacks on US soldiers.
The only intelligent thing left to do is leave on a scheduled basis. Bush wouldn't do this because he's too stubborn to admit a mistake and his pride is more important than soldiers lives apparently.

The only thing they can do is cut and run they have a plan its to bring the troops home and let the Iranians take over Iraq with the help of the Shea's!

Probably form a panel of "experts" to analyze the situation and plan a strategy...shouldn't take more than a year or so. If they had won the 2000 election, they'd still be debating what to do about 9/11.

They finally came out with their Plan in Iraq two day's ago. They want to 'stay the course' (their course, which leads to an enormas cliff) and cut and run.
