Material Deprivation is the lack of money and what money can buy. This would mean a lack of money to pay for school trips, school uniforms, school equipment etc. Anything that a child might need in their school or home life that involves money or things that need to be bought with money. Cultural Deprivation is where a child is not aware of different cultures and differing values. Like for example if a child lived in an all white community they would not know about other cultures/faiths/ethical backgrounds. They would not know about diversity.

well it means that when a society has for example 100 people and income of 1000 pounds of rice then 30 of them who are in a city took 900 pounds witch leaves remaining 70 with only 100 pounds so they first group deprived materials.
i tried to explain the idea throw an example hope it helped.

It is not having everything you want, when you see others with all the material trappings in life and you don`t have then; you may well consider yourself to be materially deprived.
