Neither...I think they are all silly but that is just my opinion.

Western Astrology gives a clearer insight into one's character, personal interests & talents and their development during the course of a lifetime.
Chinese Astrology is far superior for relationships (match-ups), hierarchy within a social structure and for choosing good (lucky) times for special events like marriage, shop-opening, burials.
Western is slightly more *scientific,* Chinese more superstitious ... in a pleasant way.
So, personally I can't choose between the two, and honestly use them both with satisfying results.

I dont buy into it to much but I perfer zodiac there predictions seem to be closer and as far as traits in a person they are almost always closer to the real thing.
