how did the situation in europe persuade europeans to embark on the idea of colonization?

the european economy and industry was growing so quickly after the industriel revolution, all european countries such as France, England, Neetherlands, Portugal....were looking for a new markets to sale them extra production.
another reason is that all african, asian, and south american countries were rich of natural ressources, and were well situated to control the world trade...
so as the other countries were underdevoloped, and suffering from weaknesses(such us the islamic empire of outmaniyin in the arabic world and north africa and turkey-Morocco-Africa...)
europe proposed the protection to some countries like Morocco, Tunisia, and take others by the War and Army
when those weak Governments agreed, then european started to control them countries step by step, till they Got everything, and they refused to leave those countries up to populations request,
African, arabic, and asian people understood that europeans wants only to exploit them, so they started to resist, it was paceful and diplomatic in some counries, and bloody and punful in athers like Algeria....
unfortunatly, we are assisting to the same situation in many countries,such as Iraq, the same story: USA and strong countries need more natural ressources especialy Oil, they were watching the world situation and looking for strategig countries with political problems, result: Iraq , and may be Syria and "the new middle east" would be the next!
