my friends and i knew julian polacios. my friend einar knew him better. my ex-room mate nancy knew him also. maybe einar still keeps in touch with him. but yeah, julian has a book about him. pretty cool, huh?

nick masons book inside out is pretty good. really inside look on syd with someone who was actually in floyd. or type in "syd barrett biography" into a search engine.
