Totally! I think most cultures aren't bothered, although the government and local councils make a big thing about it!

Yes i am in my mind its a form of control and it stifles free speech. PC was invented by the far left you see they couldn't have there armed revolution like the Russians so they instigated a cultural one here in Britain. Now the Universities ,many Councils and parts of the Media (BBC) are run by them or the ethos is left of centre. Schools teach almost neo Marxist views of history and certain councils will not allow extended opening times on St Georges day ( there are some who think us English don't deserve equality in our own country) . And of course there's the agenda against our Christian Heritage banning symbols of the faith etc. You don't have to be a staunch patriot or a born again christian to be concerned as they just might come for you next. Orwell's nightmare has just begun.

I just find it hate-full that the PC crowd are always looking to be offended on someone else's behalf because they believe that unless you're white and middle class you aren't intelligent enough to understand that you should be offended by something. Makes me puke.

It is a tool used by government to shut the general population up on certain subjects that is does not want discussed.
Being PC doe not usually cover 'British' things, generally speaking. ie It's open house on - the Queen, having red hair and Christianity
For these subjects we are told we must 'get a sense of humour'.
No sense of humour allowed about -
Islam
Immigration
EU
(Look out, look out, the thought police are out to get you)

Political Correctness is a necessary evil. It protects us from lawsuits of slander and other such things. The fastest way to get a lot of money is to sue some one.

properly I disagree. Yahoo solutions makes for crappy political debate, yet different web content do a greater physically powerful pastime of organizing such discourse and talk. of path, even in actual existence, you will infrequently replace somebody else's opinion, exceedingly if their opinion is cloaked in an identity.

I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of it personally, we all seemed to manage perfectly well before they came along telling us what not to say or who to say it to, what not to do and when not to do it, I think the only people offended by anything are the PC brigade themselves, its like been brain washed into mass hysteria by them with their silly rules and regulations, we don't need it, we just need to be ourselves to get along with each other.
