No, they are good friends.
The guy who got shot by Cheney donates big time to the Republican Party.
Just a few superficial gunshots won't change that.
These are diehards!

It was an accident. Even the man who was shot admits this fact. It has gone quiet because it was a none issue to begin with. Hunting accidents occur frequently. These incidents are investigated and charges are never brought when the facts support the accident conclusion. The only people who refuse to let this die are those who have an agenda against the administration. These are the same people who will latch onto any contention no matter how silly in an attempt to demean that which they don't agree with.

No. his friend admitted to making the mistake that got him shot, and also said it was an accident. For Cheney to go to court there would have to be Charges claimed against him be either the guy who got shot, or the state can if they feel a need, and there is no need to in this case. If there was Charges claimed GW can just pardon him and it still wouldn't go to court (Presidents usually don't pardon people until there last week in office, and then they usually go pardon happy)

No, it was an ACCIDENT, and his friend is not going to press charges because it was an ACCIDENT. Huntin accidents happen every year and they don't go to jail for it, it happens, pure and simple!
He stepped into the line of fire. Anyone that has ever been bird hunting knows that you do not move ahead of the other shooters. You stay parallel with their shoulders. He moved ahead and right into the line of fire. A shotgun fires in a spray that expands in a V pattern.

Since they were hunting legally and the shooting was an accident, no.
The friend could prefer charges but won't because they are still friends. The injuries were not serious and this type of accident is not all that uncommon in quail hunting.

First off it was an accident so the only possibility would be a civil suit. Second off he would be pardoned by the president. and third off, what does that incident have to do with your pathetic life?
